Cairns, QLD

Cairns is the gateway to the tropical North Queensland area of Australia.

The city is surrounded by mountains and nestled up against Trinity Inlet (the deep indentation in the coastline). This provides it with spectacular views of the Great Barrier Reef. This is one of the world’s best places to see coral in all its glory and is simply breathtaking.
